Give A Cash Gift to the Homeless Search Engine®:
Who is the founder?
Become a Homeless Search Engine® Monthly Sponsor:
We are like the public transit system taking you to a destination for a fare (but our fare is by choice and the destinations are thousands of poverty related websites), less than 1% give a fare. We provide a legitimate and helpful service for my request of cash gifts (instead of begging on the street corner with nothing to offer in return). I am creating a site here to help homeless, eventual charity status to open a office too. Cash gifts go towards the costs of this web site (domain name, internet line to my computer which acts as the web server, computer payments). Looking for major sponsors so we may afford to become an official organization (Canada & USA) and so we can put some of our projects to work. I currently have a legit Canadian business name (was only $45 to set this up for now until I can become a corporation or charity) so if you need a receipt, I can give you a service in exchange (run a text ad link, maybe a banner, or host a page for you) and a bill so you can still use as a tax write off. |

Founder's new "About Me" page HERE...
I am simply asking for donations now until I get everything all going well, so far I have the sites 75% complete, then I must find clients (not too long now, by 2005 things should be better), make some money (to better computers and get a car, hire a grant writer to make a grant request for each site so I may send out to organizations in hope to receive grants/funding/awards) to better build my network and to become a charity (some day). I am just hoping I will make some donations here so I do not have to go on the streets to panhandle any more (don't have to as much the last few months as I have gotten more help for the winter season, plus making a little more with sites). I can do more good here making my pages than wasting a whole day (10 am to 4pm, it can be a full time job for even less money than a job) panhandling for 30 bucks. I do receive Canadian disability (approximately $500 US per month, any normal individual makes double that working a basic job), but this only covers my rent and utilities.

OUR LATEST NEWS: |
| Apr 07, 2004: It is confirmed that I (founder)
never got a disability check for this month, not sure why. Possibly
because I mailed (about a month ago) my office that I would be in USA
traveling for a couple months. I am
homeless in USA, not even my own country so I can get help! Mar 26, 2004: Took down our anonymous web page surfer and our anonymous emailer as (170.190.43.13 IP address coming from Nashville Library in USA) an individual was using these services to post lies/hate against our site (this uses my server's IP when they post the lies). These 2 free services will not be returning EVER! Mar 25, 2004: Our sign generator fun Flash E-cards have been a huge hit, brought us over 30,000 visitors in less than a week! Not exactly homeless related, but these promote our main site and are being passed around by the younger generation across the World. Mar 12, 2004: Many popups (use this free pop-up stopper) on the free services (non www.sparesomechange.com URLs), that is why I use paid services for the main sites. Eventually blogs, forums, guest books and other free hosted services will be replaced by web application I program without popups! Feb. 29, 2004: Lot's for you to look at, plus I just added another 2,000 web sites last night to my homeless search engine database!!!! I add the sites in clumps from a temp database to check the sites. It takes about 5 mins (4,371 links total, took approximately 200 hours TO ADD them all) to submit each site into my temp database, so do not expect more for a couple weeks. Sites are 99% homeless/poverty helping related, I get sloppy a miss the odd site I am adding if I have not had proper sleep, but I try to find these later. I work some days 14 hours (usually 8-12 hours) from the comfort of my computer. Feb. 25, 2004: Only opened to the public a month ago (and already we have had over 10,000 unique visitors, almost 750 hits a day from Google, Yahoo and AOL lately), just bought the domain on the passing US Thanksgiving day (2003, was in NYC this day visiting a friend and so many homeless to make me buy this domain to make a homeless helping site) and had to make something out of it since, some pages were just created today even. So, if you find any problems, please let me know as its still NEW and mistakes happen way to easy when you are a "one man band"! |
